Kaycee Painter is a Georgia-based writer and editor whose work explores disability, survival, identity, power, and the complicated business of being a person in a body.

What I Offer

Speaking Engagements

Available for panels, conferences, literary events, community conversations, and other speaking engagements. I especially enjoy conversations surrounding writing, disability, accessibility, identity, publishing, and the role storytelling plays in how we understand ourselves and one another.

Public Readings

Available for featured readings, literary events, open mics, festivals, classrooms, and community programs. My readings bring the conversational energy and immediacy of spoken word to poetry that moves between humor, vulnerability, anger, and resistance.

Workshops

Interactive workshops for writers and literary communities focused on poetry, craft, revision, performance, and developing an authentic voice. Workshops can be adapted for different experience levels, group sizes, and event needs.

Editorial Services

Thoughtful, writer-centered feedback for poets and writers looking to strengthen their work without losing what makes it theirs. Editorial services can include close reading, developmental feedback, line-level suggestions, and support preparing work for submission.
